It’s Monday Again

How the Fight Started.... A man and woman were were asleep like two innocent babies. Suddenly, at 3 o'clock in the morning, a loud noise came from outside. The woman, sort of bewildered, jumped up from the bed and yelled at the man, "Holy crap, that must be my husband!" The man quickly jumped out of bed, and scared and naked jumped out the window. He smashed on the ground, ran through a thorn bush and then started to run as fast as he could to his car. A few minutes later he returned, went up to the bedroom and screamed at the woman, "I am your husband!" The woman yelled back,...

St. George’s Day…

The Patron Saint St. George gives us a reason for celebration around the world, and that's just what we do.  His memorial is celebrated on the 23 of April, and he is regarded as one of the most prominent military saints. Earth Day 2010

Earth Day 2010 is almost upon us and The Drink Guy is there! This is the 40th anniversary of the first celebration, held in the USA in 1970. The objective of that first Earth Day event was to "raise public awareness of environmental problems and their potential solutions." Interestingly enough, the idea for how to promote a day focusing on environmental concerns came from anti-Vietnam demonstrations! At the time, these demonstrations were happening all over the US, and the attention they were gathering was exactly what U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson, the originator of Earth Day, was...

4/20 And Other International Holiday’s!

4/20:The Things I Learn From The Drink Guy! Holiday's, an obvious topic for writing about on The Drink Guy, that's where it all started. While chatting with one of our Drink Guy fans from the UK, she made a fabulous suggestion. Why not write about holiday's from all over the world, popular and obscure? Well this just made sense, so I sat down tonight to do some research on holiday's around the world. Sigh, why do I always think these things are going to go WAY more smoothly than they do!?!? With trusty laptop, I begin my search. "Google that s**t" is one of my favorite mantras, so I...
