Rumstufian

Ingredients

  • 8 ounce Ale
  • 2 ounce Gin
  • 2 ounce Fino Sherry
  • 1 tsp fine sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 lemon twist
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 5 whole cloves
  • dash allspice

Directions

Beat eggs and sugar in a bowl and set aside.  Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan and heat almost to boil.

Add egg mixture, STIRRING constantly with a wire whisk for about 45 seconds.

Serve in a warmed Mug and garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg.
