Sazerac Classic

Ingredients

  • 3 ounce Straight Bourbon Whiskey
  • 1/2 tsp Anise-flavored Liqueur
  • 2 dashes angostura bitters
  • 1/2 tsp fine sugar
  • 1 tsp water

Directions

Pour Anise-flavored liqueur into a chilled Old Fashioned glass. Swirl until inside of glass is coated.

Add sugar, water and bitters and STIR until sugar is dissolved.  Add ice and Bourbon.

STIR and garnish with a lemon twist.
