Negroni-Simple

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Sweet Vermouth
  • 1 oz Gin
  • 1 oz Campari
  • 1 shaved orange rind
  • 2 oz soda (optional)

Directions

Negroni is a complex flavouring combination of simple ingredients of Sweet Vermouth, Campari, and Gin, with origins dating back to 1940’s Florence, Italy. Since then many iterations have appeared, wetting the palates of those who love the heady characteristic of the mix.

Pour equal parts of each ingredient (The soda is added as personal preference, most connoisseurs don’t add it) over ice into an old fashioned or rocks glass.

*This step can also be done in a cocktail shaker and then strained into the glass leaving the ice out.*

STIR, do not shake.

Garnish with a a piece of shaved orange rind and serve.
